A gorgeous Victorian English gold & amethyst cabochon heart padlock locket. This beautiful treasure dating back to 1870 features a beautiful purple amethyst and an incredible hand engraved relief patterns of leaves, vine & flowers, symbol of love, growth & eternity. It is so rare to find these Victorian heart padlock, especially with an amethyst (it is more usual to find it with a  garnet). It has a glass on the back to keep a favorite memento. The padlock is made in 10k gold with a higher carat wash.
