Antique Italian 18k gold lava cameo ring with a male figure. This ring was made in Italy with lava stone from the vulcano. These carved souvenirs surged in popularity during the 18th and 19th centuries (circa 1748–1900) following the archeological excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
