Antique Italian 18k gold engraved bloodstone intaglio fob
This piece shows such a beautiful craftsmanship, made in Italy and dating back to the beginning of 19th century. It is made of 18k gold with lovely engraving flower design all around the edges. The bloodstone shows vivid red spots with a crisp intaglio work showing 3 winged in a shield and a bigger one on top of it. The griffin is a symbol of divine power and a guardian of treasures, representing courage, boldness and strength.
