This antique French 18k gold crowned puffy heart ring called Bague de Foi is a French Regional fede ring from the 1800's (early Victorian era) representing love and faith, a puffy heart with a crowned shape above with five little bead rivets.This style of rings was used in the Brittany or Charente region of France in the 1800s as a traditional engagement or fede ring. It is hallmarked with a French eagle's head on the back.
