This is a gorgeous antique 18k gold signet ring exquisitely carved with the image of a sheaf of wheat tied together in a shield under a helmet crossed by two sabers. It is hallmarked with a French owl's head import mark. The wheat sheaf in the heraldic family crest symbolizes abundance, harvest, plenty and hospitality in the bearer.
