Beautiful Antique French 18k gold handmade braid link slide chain with an engraved slide, operating up and down and allowing different wearing length and styles. Gorgeous craftsmanship and golden patina. Hallmarked with the French eagle head on the dog clip (opening unscrewing up and down) and on the connecting bail. This chain is handmade and dates back to 1860, the Napoleon III era.
